A Quick Market Update
This might be my shortest post yet.
Right now, the market is mostly waiting. The big driver? Geopolitical events. No one knows what will happen next.
Because of this uncertainty, I’m not making any moves this week. I’m holding my current positions and keeping my stop losses in place.
Energy looks like a possible opportunity, but oil prices and the energy sector (XLE) haven’t shown much movement yet.
New data on liquidity (M2) will come out this week. I expect it to be positive, but we’ll have to wait and see.
The GDP forecast for Q2 2025 is +1.9%, and for Q3 it’s +2%. However, recent data shows the economy is softening. Retail sales and building permits last week were weaker than expected.
So, let’s watch this week closely. We need more clarity on geopolitics and should be ready for different outcomes.
